Description

Gualiname Guachichiles is a separate U.S. chapter of the Guachichil Tribal Nation. Established in 2021 they are named after Gualiname "...a mighty Guachichil warrior that fought in the valley of San Luis Potosi...who was greatly feared by the Spanish. In the past, our ancestors were organized into smaller bands who would name themselves based on their leaders. Hence, this group follows that traditional practice. We are the Gualiname Guachichiles. We honor that fallen warrior of the past." --Juan Zapata(chapter member)
