Description

Chuck Johnson is a naive American English speaker, a student of 4 foreign languages himself (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Spanish) and teacher of 15 years. He has taught visiting foreign professors at Michigan State University, as well as people of all ages and backgrounds in Hong Kong, Korea, and Japan. His pronunciation system, Phat English, was first developed as a regular contribution to Japan's Mainichi Weekly Newspaper under the name "Hop Step Rap" and Chuck later perfected the system while working as an American English pronunciation coach for actors at the Hummingbird Academy in Tokyo.
His teaching system is currently being utilized by Temple University, and the Tokyo Fire Department.
