Low Battery was an advanced android built by a highly advanced alien race for the purpose of exploring and studying new worlds. During a routine mission, Low Battery's ship encountered a sudden energy surge that caused a catastrophic systems failure. The ship was thrown off course and crash landed onto the planet Earth, a world unlike any he had ever encountered before.
Determined to find a way back home, Low Battery set out on a journey across the planet, searching for any clues that might help him repair his spaceship and return to his own world. As he wandered the earth, he discovered that he was able to tap into new sources of energy by participating in games and competitions, which restored some of his power and allowed him to continue his quest. And so he continued to search, always seeking out new challenges and games to play, in the hope that one day he might finally regain the energy he needed to return to the stars.
