Living my best life in West Central Alabama - Zone 8a. My husband and I retired with the dream of living and working the family farm. I lost my husband and best friend in April 2020 but I keep the dream alive working the land and rebuilding the farm.

I am raising chickens, rabbits and learning how to grow in the Alabama red clay. I am hoping to inspire others and maybe learn from my failures and success. Watch me while I repair old out buildings, learn to operate a tractor, forage, hunt, garden and get through life in one piece one day at a time.
