The Fearless Engineer is a project founded in 2019, which is dedicated to the dissemination of knowledge in the areas of programming and electronics.
The target group are students from most STEM subjects who "must" deal with topics such as programming and electronics.
The founder Dr. Andreas Haja is professor at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer and has been active in engineering education for several years. His observation is that a high practical relevance and fun in the subject are an important prerequisite for successful learning. Studying in 2020 can be much more than just listening to the classic 90-minute lecture.
The idea of the "Fearless Engineer" is therefore to present the learning contents in such a way that it is possible to learn important basic concepts "on the side" and with fun. For this reason, YouTube was chosen as the medium with a usually short video duration of less than 20 minutes.
