Description

Named after frontmen James McNary and Slater Aiello, Jam 'n' Slate is a psychedelic indie band from San Diego, CA. With Kellen Rose, Grant Gustin, and Nathan Goff filling out the rest of the roster, they intend to continue their journey into creating strange psychedelic tunes. Greatly inspired by the Australian, psychedelic rock renaissance ( King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard , ORB, Pond , Tame Impala , and others), Jam ‘n’ Slate are the only band to release a 16 minute song about an interdimensional egg god. They’re pretty sure at least.



Recorded over the course of quarantine, "Phantom Summer" is the band’s most recent dive into psychedelic music. It’s an experimental synth pop apocalypse album. That’s probably the best way to put it, idk.
