The original TG16 gameplay archive, est 2009. This channel contains a partial gameplay archive set for commercial TG16 games released in the United States NSTC market. New for 2025, PC Engine and TG16-CD games will also be joining the mix.
The goal of this archive and the sister archives is to produce reference-worthy gameplays for full console catalogs. Ideally, to serve as accurate representations of casual, non-competitive play; exhibiting basic mechanics and audio/visual design.
New HD versions of existing TG16 videos are being actively captured from an Analogue Duo; older videos were either captured from a composite signal hand-wired off the exposed rear pins on an original console at 480p or from the Wii Virtual Console composite and may appear "fuzzy" on modern displays.
