Description

Traditional winter camping style hauling toboggans with snowshoes and skis, and using fire in the boreal forest of northern Ontario, Canada: Hot tent style with canvas tent and woodstove, and cold camp style using big fire. In summer, solo canoe tripping, flatwater and whitewater trips in the boreal, sub arctic and arctic barrenlands, and some hiking. Axe and saw are always with me as I prefer to use fire for cooking.
