The official YouTube channel for the unofficial Phineas and Ferb parody musical, M.W.C.A. (Musical Without a Cool Acronym) - Virtual Edition.
Written by Andrew Grabowski, MWCA lovingly parodies the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. The musical centers on Candace Flynn, a determined teenager who sets out to find the cause of her misfortune after a summer of failed attempts to bust her brothers. Songs in MWCA come from the cartoon as well as several Broadway musicals, with rewritten lyrics to fit the characters & scenarios.
Our show was produced virtually from December 2020-August 2021. After promoting auditions through TikTok, we assembled 50+ talented cast & crew members located around the world. We worked over Zoom and other platforms for nine months to produce the two-act show, which premiered on August 20, 2021. Since our premiere, we have produced several additional songs for the channel, including the 15-track "Musical With a Christmas Album".
