The EPFL AI Center is a hub for artificial intelligence at one of the world’s leading technology institutions. The Center’s activities span the entire campus, leveraging the extensive expertise of EPFL’s faculty and researchers across all schools and academic disciplines. Our vision is to shape a future where AI works for everyone through cutting-edge research, education and collaboration with industry and society.

Our mission is to lead the way towards trustworthy, accessible, and inclusive AI, which is built on the foundation of three key pillars.
- Research, to ensure EPFL and Switzerland remain at the forefront, not only of AI, but also of Applied AI to other sciences.
- Education, by providing an EPFL-wide coordination of AI teaching, and scalable just-in-time education for everyone.
- Innovation, by connecting with the Swiss private and public sectors to cultivate cutting-edge, neutral AI know-how and foster trustworthy AI.
