"Hello world, my name is Cat, I am 20 years old living in Hawaii. Italian/Irish/Polish New Yorker with a love of art and nature.

I'm new to this whole music thing, so go easy on me. I've only been playing the ukulele for about 18 months, the guitar for 12 months, and vocals for about a month now. My stuff is raw, flawed, and not very prepared at all. Youtube has some rep for tearing people apart, and I'm just looking to share some of my growing passion with the world, so please, go easy on me!"

That is what I wrote a year ago when I began singing.... Who knew just 12 months later, I would have an audience of almost 70,000 people spread throughout social media, who have been nothing but KIND. For a kid who grew up terrified to even sing in the shower, because she was too scared she'd criticize herself too harshly, the flurry of warmhearted comments I continue to receive, is something I would have never even dreamed possible.
