CANDY CODED is an electropop music project formed by Sam Antonioli and Joseph Birdsong. Sam is an audio engineer and musician based in Montana, and Joseph is an online content creator and writer from Arkansas who posts regular vlogs on YouTube.
Sam creates the music and handles production, and Joseph writes the lyrics and provides the vocals. Their debut EP, titled Moonlight and released in September 2015, incorporates sounds from several of their favorite genres, including J-pop, electronic, pop, and dance music, and blends Sam's space-inspired synths and four-to-the-floor beats with Joseph's thought-provoking lyrics about love and loss and robotic vocals and harmonies.
