Welcome to the OFFICIAL “Plymptoons” channel!
Bill Plympton, the King of Indie Animation.
The first person to hand draw an entire animated feature film "The Tune", and began his career cartooning for The New York Times, The New Yorker, National Lampoon, Playboy and Screw.
Twice Oscar® nominated, and winner of the prestigious Cannes 1991 Prix du Jury; he additionally took the Grand Prize for Short Films in Cannes Critics' Week. He earned the Winsor McCay Lifetime Achievement Award from The Annie Awards, and the National Cartoonist Society Lifetime Achievement Award, as well.
Past collaborators include Madonna, Kanye West and Weird Al Yankovic for video and book projects. He's created ads for Geico, Trivial Pursuit, Ford, Mercedes, Nike and Taco Bell, along with eight "couch gags" for FOX-TV's "The Simpsons" and six "Trump Bites" shorts which won a Webby Award.
