Flashback From Future
Description
We are Flashback From Future, an Italian Avantgarde rock band. We were born in 2009 on initiative of Alberto Monteverde (keyboard, guitar) and Lorenzo Cittadino (bass guitar), who also are the main composers. After a couple of years we came to a definitive lineup: in addition to the two above-mentioned, Emmanuele Tiso (lead vocals, saxophone), Alberto Zamprogna (guitar, background vocals) and Omar Ibrahim (drums and percussions) joined the band.
Our music has been compared to the old-fashioned, 70's soundtrack-like music of Calibro 35, but we would rather say that it's a creative and exciting mixture of Funk, Progressive and New Wave, the unique synthesis of our many different musical influences. Our lyrics have the immodest goal of describing the actual problems of the new generation, sometimes in an ironic tone, some others in a serious one.
