I am Sarla from Columbus.Ohio. U.S.A. Originally from Bombay India. Born in Muscat Oman.

I am a long time business woman. In business together with my husband.
I hold a Master's degree in Business from the University of Bombay. I was also awarded a Diploma in Home Science which fulfilled my creative passion.
I am an avid reader and have read most of our Scriptures and Vedas. I hold Swami Vivekanand in high regard.
I have met many many stars of the Golden Era and several of the present times.
My favorite male singers are Hemant Kumar, Talat Mehmood and Ghulam Ali.
But I was most happy when I met Lataji.
Singing is my love from early childhood and Lataji has been my inspiration and her songs are my "teacher" since I was six years of age.
I enjoy singing and uploading selected songs on YouTube and interacting with many many of the wonderful co singers, listeners and other sincere and creative uploaders.
