The Legacy of Love: Michael Jackson Fans United NYC Meetup Group was started by a life-long Jackson Family fan in 2010 as way for other college-aged MJ fans in New York City to get together for comfort, support and have fun with with other fans who didn't have an outlet for their grief or people around them who understood the impact Michael Jackson had on their lives.

Over the next 5 years, Legacy of Love has grown into fan club with members and staff from all across the New York Tri-State Area and of all ages including new fans who re-discovered Michael Jackson after June 25, 2009.

Legacy of Love is a support network with the ultimate mission of keeping Michael's legacy alive by hosting events ranging from discussions of his creative and humanitarian efforts, screenings of his visual arts, supporting fellow fans in their MJ related endeavors and volunteering and sponsoring accredited charities in Michael Jackson's name.
