The Clangers are inquisitive, adventurous creatures who are very loving and supportive of each other and their friends, communicating with their now famous high-pitched Clanger whistles. The original Clangers are fondly remembered and are viewed by many as a cult series. The new Clangers TV show started airing in the UK on CBeebies in 2015 and is narrated by Michel Palin.
