I loathe this denseness,
summers bliss is a ghost.
Golden rays penetrate the skyline,
but reflect off the soul into shadows.
Apparitions of fake light, fake spirit.
The Chimera's flame delusional and dampening.
How can my eyes allow me to see,
when shadows impede me?
