Kaibutsu Sound System is a retired solo music project by Ascetimancer. Genre varies drastically between certain albums.
While the first 3 Kaibutsu Sound System (Abbreviated as KSS) albums were more in line with Synthwave, Psychedelic music, and Dream pop, the project took a drastic left turn at Cascade, an album that brought the project into Post-Rock, Post-Metal, Blackgaze, etc.
Following Cascade, the project was retired in favor of more ambitious projects.
