Many of the classical element systems had 5 elements. The 4 mundane elements (earth, air, water, fire) are most well-known and commonly encountered. But there was often a fifth element: space, heaven, void, aether, quintessence. These were used to describe "heavenly" phenomena like stars or other supposedly unknowable, unchangeable, or incorruptible entities.HELLO!!
