Welcome to my channel and thank you so much for stopping by! My name is Cory Baker and I am a filmmaker in Los Angeles who wants to help you understand movies from behind the scenes. I hope to give you insights into what it's like to make movies at all different levels of production, and to talk about my thoughts on the latest films I see in my movie reviews.

I was born in Baltimore and making films for a living sounded difficult like becoming an athlete, or an astronaut, or some other profession that starts with an "a." It sounded so farfetched until I faced the situation and started making things happen. I have written, produced, and directed over a dozen projects in Baltimore before moving to Los Angeles to specialize as a location sound mixer. Since moving to Hollywood, I have 50+ credits doing sound while still producing content, writing new screenplays, and looking for opportunities to direct bigger projects.
