Pasha Lychagin was born on the 13th of February 1988 in Seymchan, a small town near Magadan, Russia, but lives in St. Petersburg since 1992.
His musical taste was educated by his father. At the age of 15 he started to play electric guitar and was impressed by musicians like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page. Soon he understood that electric sound is not his passion and finally he got a new acoustic guitar for his 16th birthday. At that age he listened to a lot of jazz, funk, brazilian and flamenco music. In 2007 he found some records of Tommy Emmanuel on youtube and he got infected by the “fingerstyle disease”. Finally Pasha met Tommy Emmanuel in 2008 on his show in Helsinki, Finland. Tommy inspired him to play and grow, to give people positive emotions.
