The Stanford Center for Ocean Solutions catalyzes research, innovation, and action to improve the health of the oceans for the people who depend on them most. Part of the Woods Institute for the Environment at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, the Center collaborates with governments, companies, NGOs, and coastal communities to co-design research, co-develop solutions, and scale innovations in the real world. Our work brings together expertise from across Stanford’s seven schools to solve complex problems and equip the next generation of ocean leaders with interdisciplinary skills and cross-sector experience.
