TASer, among other things.

TAS = Tool-Assisted Speedrun. Those who create TASes (TASers) use various tools only available through emulator (savestates, slowdown, and frame-by-frame among others) in order to achieve superhuman play. Fun fact about my TASes; none of them have been done using frame-by-frame (mostly because ZSNES sucks at recording that correctly.)
