Marques Braddy, artistically known as "Braddy" was born and raised in the city of Macon Georgia where he began his pursuit for fame at the early age of 11 by constructing words into poems that would later take the form of rhymes. Recognized in his middle school as the best writer in his 7th grade literature class, it became clear that Braddy was blessed with a gift and within a year solidified the notoriety came troubles that led to numerous suspensions and eventually a brief expulsion from school.

However, through hard-work and perseverance, he regrouped and after completing high school released his sophomoric project entitled "Independent Hustla." The Independent Hustla Mix-Tape quickly became a popular staple in the city of Macon Georgia.
