"It wasn’t a love at first sight kind of thing, actually, it was more like familiarity. Deep down in my heart, I knew from the beginning, that this man could be my soulmate. We were camping a few weeks after we had met, and I still remember him telling me…I know you will have a big impact on my life…I don’t know how yet, I just feel it. Nothing could happen between us…well, nothing that usually happens between a boy and a girl who are single in the crazy summer of Malta. We just talked and wandered in conversations about travel, dreams, people and all the emotions that all of this brings. But ultimately, this was something that instantly connected us – travel. I guess that’s why after dating Daryl for a little more than a month – I was ready to join him on a dream that he’s had for the past five years – to ride around the world on his motorcycle, starting from Malta to Australia.
