Description

CRISTIAN AXT, composer.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1978.
He studied with the Italian maestro Giuseppe Corsaro,
and with the Argentine composer maestro Andrés Pedro Risso.

His compositions have been performed at the Simón Bolívar Symphonic Band (Caracas), Los Llanos and Táchira Symphony Orchestra (all belonging to "El Sistema" in Venezuela), National Symphony Orchestra of Argentina, Salta Symphony Orchestra, Bahía Blanca Symphony Orchestra, Rosario Chamber Orchestra, UCASAL Chamber Orchestra and Teatro Argentino de La Plata Academic Chamber Orchestra (Argentina), Hong Kong Festival Wind Orchestra (China), and the Symphonic Band of Valle del Cauca (Colombia).
Since 2006, he has worked intensively with the conductors Régulo Stabilito, Lucio Bruno Videla, Jorge Lhez, Bernardo Teruggi, Shun Yi Ma and Emmanuel Siffert, with choreographer José Luis Lozano and the performers Natalia G. Figueroa, Ana Fau, Zhanna Bullock, Germán Clavijo, Sophie Webber, Lilia Salsano and athers.
