"Um..." He had never been good with meeting new people... actually, even if he had known you all of his life, he would still be nervous around you. He was just socially awkward. "M-My name's L-Luigi." He managed to stutter, allowing a hopeful smile to tug onto the corners of his lips. "Maybe you've heard of me?" He adjusted his cap as he waited for an answer.

"No...?" The smile only faltered for a moment. He was used to this treatment.
"Maybe 'Green Mario' will ring a bell? Well, that doesn't matter. Anyway, my name is Luigi. My twin brother and I reside in the lavish walls of the Mushroom Kingdom..." He closed his eyes, his smile only fond now. "I still remember the fateful day Mario and I fell down the warp pipe." He gave a soft, sheepish laugh. "Mario does a lot of the work... sometimes, I just stay home and house sit. Living in his shadow isn't the /best/ feeling, but it's okay. Why? Well, no matter how many things scare me, I know I have friends that'll always be there for me, and, you know, in those rare occasions when emerald dominates ruby, it's all worth it. Although, sometimes it's good just to be the faithful sidekick, trying to be there to lend a hand. Yes-siree... I'm proud of what I do."
...He seemed to realize what he was saying, a heated blush rising to his cheeks. "I-I'm sorry! I-I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm boring you, aren't I?" He bit his lower lip, his whole body quivering.
