KERSH was formed in 2017 when the Kershaw brothers, originally from London and Essex, England, but now living far apart from each other, and often on the move, found forming a stable band a difficult task. “We realised the way forward would have to be a collective music project,” Richie explained. “Bringing in great musicians from around the world to bring the songs alive." With a catalogue of songs in place they began working alongside players from England, Ireland, Scotland, Hawaii, Mainland U.S.A, Columbia and Ukraine to add spirit to their budding demos. The result: a collection of cosmopolitan rock songs with vintage flair and a strong emphasis on melody and lyrics. Inspired by New Wave, Indie, early Bowie, and the 1960's/70's psychedelic folk-rock scene you can be sure of eclectic mix of songs with the debut album ‘This Error’ bringing to fruition the first two years of KERSH.
