I have been studying various types of Martial Arts for about 40+yrs. I started out studying Taekwondo in an Allan Steen school in Dallas, sometime back in the early 60's, my teacher was Fred Wren.

I was looking for more, and boy did I find it. Around the early 80's I found this school just by chance, they advertised a woman's self defense rape course that was open to all. The Self Defense moves are so easy to do women of all sizes can perform them. However, I soon found out that there was way more than a "Self Defense" course that I could learn. I've been studying ever since then and by no means am I a master. However I am a Black Belt and I hold a Masters Self Defense teaching certificate.
