Caritas Gothic Industrial Karaoke was one of the first specifically goth-themed karaoke nights, founded in 2009 in Portland, Oregon. Caritas later moved to the Cat Club on Folsom Street in SOMA, San Francisco for several years, with an additional monthly event in San Jose, and then moved back to the Eastern Pearl in Portland.

We do not currently have a live night, but would be welcome to venues in the Northern Portland or Vancouver, Washington area. If you are a venue manager and would like to host Caritas, let me know!

Oh and yes, the name is an homage to the demon karaoke bar in the Angel TV series. The word means "mercy" in latin, so it's a double-entendre.
