FlamingGaymer is a full-time sound designer/composer and guide writer for video games such as FFXIV, Bloons Tower Defense 6 (BTD6), Genshin Impact, Don't Starve Together (DST) V-Rising and Hades, releasing content through basicallyaverage.com

In late 2021 he began streaming on Twitch in hopes of bringing joy back into video games as he was only playing games for work and lost all forms of escapism and entertainment from the hobby. Although he began by playing mostly management and sandbox games such as The Sims 4 and Two Point Hospital, he began venturing into genres he never played such as Horror and FPS games naming Resident Evil as one of his favourite Series.

While he predominantly plays Final Fantasy XIV on stream currently, he does hope to return to the classics like The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, as well as explore some of the newer releases that pique his interest.

Though his YouTube content is primarily live streams, he also does a few first time play throughs.
