My name is Amy Jo. A few years ago I started writing therapeutically after a suggestion from my therapist. It turned out to be an important outlet for expressing my emotions. During my journey to better mental health I also experienced the benefits of listing to others share their stories. That's when I started thinking about how cool it would be to create an online community for the purpose of expressing thoughts and feelings through writing. And so, in addition to offering writing prompts and sharing tips that work for me, I will read my and other people’s letters and journal entries. I think you will find that hearing the stories of others is very helpful.
