Ilay is a young composer (born 2010) and multi-instrumentalist, based in the UK. His musical journey started when he learned to play the piano at 3 years old, after which he picked up cello, guitar and percussion. He is a member of several orchestras and ensembles and enjoys going to classical concerts and recitals. Ilay is truly passionate about playing and creating music, composes for a range of different instruments and is always on the lookout for new musical challenges. He is a truly versatile musician and has been composing a great amount of works in a variety of styles.

Winner of the Young Percussion Composer of the Year 2022 Competition (Age Category under 14).
